Overview

SGE develops and implements zero-emission technologies for the production of electricity and heat. Through its joint venture company with ORLEN named ORLEN SGE plans to deploy a fleet of Small Modular Reactors (SMR) nuclear power plants in Poland and the CEE. In March, 2023, the company signed an agreement with U.S. and Canadian energy utilities - Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and with GE Hitachi for the design of a BWRX-300. SGE together with its partners will invest $400 million in the development of the GEH BWRX-300 technology.
